wuglet: Case file #060530

Evey enters the lab and puts the bags with the evidences on an examination table. She quickly prepares a fresh brew of coffee and then turns to her task.

She searches the shoes and the rose for fingerprints, the clothes for sources to make a DNA sample. As the case seems to feature a certain degree of sexual offence she looks out for semen traces on the clothes.
Additionally she looks for hairs and skin sheds.

"As soon as we can take a sample from the body I can run a comparison test and see if we are lucky and have some DNA from the offender." she mutters to herself.

"Oh and I should check the internet if this rose is some special kind..."

Testing the evidence takes you a while, but finally you're finished. You found several fingerprints, most of them from the victim, but some are not on file. There are several prints on the money, among them those of the vic and those of another person. These two people seem to have been the last in contact with the dollars, since their prints are on each and every one...

The prints of a third person could be found all over the handbag, clothes and shoes. They are partly beneath and partly above prints of the vic.

Regarding the clothes, you found the same prints that were on the money on the fastener of the vic's bra...

Also, there were several brown hairs from two different persons on the clothes, while the vics hair is blonde...

There are no other DNA traces on the clothes or the handbag...

The rose is a dark red baccara rose with a long stem, nothing special and can be bought at any flourist...

Maybe you should ask pathology, if they found out something more about the vic's body...
